Rolling Thunder

Guilt won the day! I starting thinking to myself, "How long could it possibly take?" So I got my ass in the basement and did the workout.

Rolling Thunder
95# x5 Warm up
105# x15

I'll go up to 110# next time. You might be thinking to yourself, "Is he really that weak on RT?" Yes.

  1. I hope the high-rep RT workout works for you Matt. How long will you stick to it before you test your max again? If I remember your 1 rep max correctly, you're using a very high percentage of that on the multiple reps.

  2. Yeah, my max is 130# if I remember correctly. I think RT is an amazingly difficult lift. I bet I'll be able to increase 5# per workout straight to 120# and hit 15 reps each workout. But I just hit a BRICK-FRIGGIN-WALL at 130#.

    Should I get sore from this? I didn't, but I also wasn't sure where to start.
